The Pilar McCloud
EXPERIENCE
From Boston to Ferguson and beyond—including U.S. territories—Pilar McCloud has dedicated her voice, time, and talent to uplifting women, particularly women of color.

"Society places negative stereotypes on Black women, especially young ladies… Let’s reject those demeaning labels. Let’s be better together and learn from each other."

As a keynote speaker, mentor, and advocate for mental health, Pilar shares her wisdom—gained through lived experience and formal education—with audiences of all backgrounds. She holds a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion certification from the University of South Florida MUMA College of Business and a Community Health Work (CHW) certification from the Rhode Island Department of Health, equipping her with deep insights into the disparities affecting the Black community.

Her leadership speaks for itself: as the former Chairwoman of the NAACP Youth & College Division in Providence, Rhode Island, and the New England Area Conference (NEAC) Advisor for Youth & College, Pilar has made youth empowerment not just her mission, but her life’s work.

Above all, Pilar is a daughter, a mother, and a grandmother—an unwavering force inspiring young women everywhere she goes.
